ecollective

It is estimated that the world generates almost 12 pounds for every man, woman and child on the planet. That’s why, when ECS Refining, a recycling and end-of-life services company specializing in electronics, industrial equipment and hazardous wastes, asked us to brand and bring to market California’s most aggressive consumer electronics take back initiative, we were thrilled.

The ecollective program enables the safe , easy and free recycling of your unwanted and obsolete electronics by providing convenient drop-off locations in your neighborhood. By encouraging Californians to “Take it back for good”, ECS was able to gain enough momentum to reach 70% of their target participating collection centers goal only one month into the initiative’s launch.

The result? Almost 400 partner drop-off locations, a 90% reach within 10 miles of every household in California and a national 2012 rollout.
